On September 27, at Canada’s National Ballet School, over 300 guests and volunteers joined us in our celebration of creating caring communities in support of Hospice Toronto. A special thank you to all our attendees, donors, and sponsors. Through your generous support, the event raised just over $60,000 for Hospice Toronto.
It was an unforgettable evening of entertainment and fine food. Taste buds were delighted with a selection of gourmet food exquisitely prepared by à la Carte Kitchen Inc. Guests enjoyed the intimate tones of Eleanor McCain, the magical melodies of Arash Behzadi, and the smooth jazz of the gene pool boys! Shoppers were thrilled by our highly anticipated Silent Auction with a bevy of exciting offerings. This year’s event celebrated Creating Caring Communities. Through Creating Caring Communities, Hospice Toronto advances its model of volunteer-based, home hospice palliative care in St. James Town’s diverse communities for people living with illness, and their families, to realize their choice to remain at home and receive care in their community.
